By now many of you may have heard that the UK is going into another national lockdown :-(
This is a sad, but necessary measure put in place to help save more lives in the run up to Christmas. The UK is not alone and many countries across the world are finding themselves living in this semi-lockdown, new normal.
We wanted to provide a brief update on how we're navigating this as a small independent business.
We're excited to announce that we are newly stocked in Wolf & Badger.
Wolf and Badger is an incredible global online marketplace for independent brands, with storefronts in London and New York City.
The tips I’m about to share have changed my life. So much so that I now give private wellness sessions across London. My clients include solicitors, business managers, consultants, NHS staff, musicians and artists who have all benefited from investing in and prioritising their well-being.
Here are my 5 wellness tips to help you cope with modern life :-)
LYL is a black owned business. Like so many of you, we've recently watched the world come to a racial tipping point after the video of an innocent man named George Floyd, went viral. He was brutally murdered quite flippantly, by those that had been hired to protect and serve the community....... Unfortunately, this is not a new or standalone incident as police brutality and systemic racism has resulted in many deaths and casualties in the black community. Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Trayvon Martin, Philando Castile.....the list is too long and far too painful.
Self-isolation, has conjured up a host of emotions. We never knew just how much going out and socialising with loved ones was a necessary human experience. Life on lockdown can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious or simply tired of all the bad news and the restrictions placed on us all. That said, it’s all completely necessary and the quarantine blues are a side effect of you doing your part, so well done to you!
Ever the optimists, we wanted to highlight some great things that have come out of self-isolation. Yes it sucks, but humans are phenomenal and will always find a way to band together and make things happen…..even now.
