Let's do better
LYL is a black owned business. Like so many of you, we've recently watched the world come to a racial tipping point after the video of an innocent man named George Floyd, went viral. He was brutally murdered quite flippantly, by those that had been hired to protect and serve the community....... Unfortunately, this is not a new or standalone incident as police brutality and systemic racism has resulted in many deaths and casualties in the black community. Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Trayvon Martin, Philando Castile.....the list is too long and far too painful.
Good Vibes In Hard Times
Self-isolation, has conjured up a host of emotions. We never knew just how much going out and socialising with loved ones was a necessary human experience. Life on lockdown can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious or simply tired of all the bad news and the restrictions placed on us all. That said, it’s all completely necessary and the quarantine blues are a side effect of you doing your part, so well done to you!
Ever the optimists, we wanted to highlight some great things that have come out of self-isolation. Yes it sucks, but humans are phenomenal and will always find a way to band together and make things happen…..even now.

We cannot ignore the magnitude of what's happening around us, or how helpless and uncertain so many of us are feeling. Whether your self employed, a business owner or an employee, these last few weeks have been insane. We hope you and your friends and family are safe and doing well despite the craziness. <3.
Here's a few things we're doing to stay calm and remain positive.

We were asked to exhibit our collection at London Fashion Week February 2020 and of course we said YESSSSS!
