We always want your shopping experience with LYL to be enjoyable and we hope you love each and every item you purchase. If your order is unsuitable for any reason, we are happy to offer an exchange or refund within 14 days of making your purchase.
To return an item, the item must be unworn, unused, unscented, unmarked, in the original condition with all original tags and security straps attached. If the product returned is shown to be worn, marked or the tags have been damaged, we reserve the right to refuse the return.
RETURNED MERCHANDISE IMPORTANT NOTES:
There must not be any signs of wear or use. This includes the following:
- All original hang tags and display tickets must still be attached
- All products must be contained in the original packaging
- Items must not be contaminated with smoke or perfume
- Returned merchandise must be in new and unused condition
- For hygiene purposes we cannot accept the return of earrings, or swimwear
- Branded security ribbon must still be attached to the garment, and must not be tampered with, or removed.
All packaging must be returned with the product. Packaging must be well maintained, and merchandise should fit accordingly inside return boxes or envelopes to prevent damage or over wrinkling to avoid a restock fee. Please include your order invoice and reason for return with the merchandise for tracking purposes.
Please note that return / exchange postal costs will not be covered by LYL. It is recommended to send returns/exchanges via Royal Mail’s tracked postal service. The original shipping cost is not refundable.
Returned or exchanged goods are your responsibility until delivered to us. We recommend that you track, insure and keep your shipping receipts until your return is processed. LYL is not responsible for any damage, or loss caused in the process of returning your items.
If you would like to return a product an email must be sent to email@example.com within 48 hours of your item being delivered. A response will be sent detailing where to send the return.
Returns must be received no later than 14 calendar days of your item being delivered. Returns sent after the 7th day may not be accepted.
Returns are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving your return. We will send you an email confirmation when your return has been received and the store credit or exchange has been issued.
If you would like to exchange a product an email must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of your item being delivered.
If you would like to exchange an item, for another product you have 7 days from the date the item was delivered to do so.
The Availability of a replacement item is not guaranteed.
Please note that the delivery of an exchanged item will not be covered by LYL and will need to be paid for ahead of the new item being sent
Returns Outside of the UK
For all returns coming from outside of the UK, the same rules apply i.e.
- LYL will not cover postal fees
- All packaging must be sent with the product
- Original delivery fee is non-refundable
- Product must be returned in a resell-able condition i.e. unworn with no stains, or marks, no tags or security ribbon tampered with
- The returning package is the responsibility of the sender and not LYL – we advise to use tracking services, ensure the delivery and keep your receipts until safe delivery is confirmed
- If exchanging the item, the cost of the second item being delivered will not be covered by LYL
- If the returned item is shown to be worn, the return will not be accepted, and will be returned at your expense.
If your order arrives Defective or Damaged, please contact customer service immediately by providing clear photos of the damage to email@example.com.
Damaged items can be exchanged, or a credit note can be provided.
For sale/discounted items, a damaged good can only be exchanged or a credit note given.
Colours and size may vary due to photography lenses, indoor/outdoor lighting, computer monitor resolutions. Clothing patterns may also vary. These situations do not qualify as defects.
